Can anyone please let us know if it is okay to upload any of the following:
The Snow Queen 1959 (68 min dubbed version with Art Linkletter introduction)
Little Gray Neck 1950's? (Dubbed version of a Russian short - No copyright notice in titles)
A Christmas Tree 1959 (Again a dubbed version of a Russian short - No copyright notice in titles)
Tulips Shall Grow (1942 George Pal animated short)
Freedom River (1971 Orson Welles narrated animation)
All of the above appear on PD DVD label sets.
Also…
Massacre in Rome (1973)
Skeleton Coast (1987)
The Klansman (1974)
The Sell Out (1976)
The Legend of Boggy Creek (1972) (my VHS copy has no copyright notice on titles)
Abraxas, Guardian of the Universe (1990)
Thank you.

Are all PD.

Massacre in Rome (1973) PD. Ineligible for Gatt (published without notice less than 30 day after publication in italy)

Skeleton Coast (1987) Copyright. Reg'd PA0000419078 1988

The Klansman (1974) PD. Original publication prints had no notice. Cut version contained faulty notice.

The Sell Out (1976) Copyright GATT

The Legend of Boggy Creek (1972) (my VHS copy has no copyright notice on titles) PD. US film published before 1978 without a copyright notice. Registered in 1995 but false publication date and lack of notice in prints published in 1972 (limited) and 1973 fully published mean that the film is PD and that registration should have been rejected.

Abraxas, Guardian of the Universe (1990) Copyright. Too new to be PD

Thanks Video Cellar for your research, brilliant stuff!
Great that there's quite a few to upload from the list. Glad that 'Legend of Boggy Creek' is PD, nice to put that one up.
Will get the first batch up in the next couple of days.

Thanks also, skybandit. I didn't see the 'Snow Queen' as a kid, but I can certainly understand that it is the stuff of childhood nightmares. Certainly has its memorable dark moments!

According to the highly erratic Wikipedia, the original Art Linkletter version is PD, but the other two versions aren't. It was redubbed and rescored twice in the 80's and 90's.
Saw this film at school in kindergarden, and it's the first movie I recall scaring the living shit out of me! The second was "The Day the Earth Stood Still" on the Ghoulardi show.
